Rhys and Nancy from Strictly Come Dancing Survived The Martian Invasion
BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing stars Rhys Stephenson and Nancy Xu practised their Paso Doble in The Spirit of Man Bar and Restaurant last November. The pair visited in preparation for their performance to Jeff Wayne’s The Eve of The War for Strictly’s Halloween special.
Other celebrity guests to visit the experience recently have been comedians Lee Mack (Would I Lie To You? & Not Going Out) and Mae Martin (Feel Good).
New Scenes Were Added
One of the experience's central scenes, Journey to London, was reimagined as a thrilling live action scene. As part of the new scene you can: take shelter with the Artilleryman in the trenches; hide inside a military tent from Martian Fighting Machines above you and hide inside a military tent from Martian Fighting Machines above you.

London Design Awards 2021 - GOLD winner
Jeff Wayne's The War of The Worlds: The Immersive Experience was awarded GOLD in the London Design Awards for Digital - AR / VR - New Experiences, rated by a panel of industry experts and members of the Design Exec Club. The awards program celebrates the creativity and courage of those leading the way in the design industry.
The experience also won Tripadvisor’s 2021 Traveller’s Choice Award, and currently ranks #12 of all nightlife.
